Help Mario and Vee Rebuild After a Fire
Beloved Fire Family, Magic Community, and Friends Abroad,
This is Gina. I want to share with you the devastating news
that a fire has destroyed the motorhome of Mario and Veronica
Conway Morris, beloveds in our Community. This happened in Spain,
whilst they visiting family and spreading their love and magic
wherever they go.
Mario and Veronica first came to Bone Dance in 2012 and last
visited our circle in Vegas MayFire in 2017. They have taken their
own experiences and what they learned from us and began building
their own fire circles. They have taken their sacred fires to the
mountains of Andalucía, Spain, Cardiff, Wales, and Glastonbury,
England. The community abroad has been growing.
Mario is a magician and Veronica a Storyteller who travel the
world sharing and teaching magic where they go. They are guest
teachers here in Las Vegas at the McBride Magic and Mystery School
since 2010.
The fire destroyed their motorhome and many of their traveling
personal possessions. They need to rebuild to continue doing the
work that they do. The loss has been devastating to them, but they
are hopeful and optimistic about rebuilding.
They are insured, but even if it does come through, it could
take months and not cover the actual cost of their loss.
We are a community that meets each other's needs and I ask you,
as you are able, to donate to our brother and sister at this time.
All funds will go directly to them in the UK.
Below is their story in their own words:
Our Story
We love creating magic where ever we go, magical gathering,
hosting events that empower others to live their life to the full.
We have always had a motorhome to travel to different parts of the
world. Having a motorhome gives us the freedom of the road and our
motorhome is an extension of who we are. We spend up to 8 months
a year going from place to place in it.
The Fire
On Tuesday 27th October, after a day out in our motorhome, we
returned to where we are staying up in the mountains.
We walked over to the house and when we came back over to the van
and then we realized that is was on fire.
Panic ensued as we tried to put it out the fire with the
motorhome fire extinguisher. However, the fire grew so fast the
cabin had filled up with smoke and the windscreen cracked and the
flames and heat beat us back.
With tears pouring down our faces the only thing we could do was
to retreat to a safer place and wait for the fire brigade. We
waited about 40 minutes for rescue to come by which time our beloved
motorhome was completely burnt to a crisp and everything in it was gone.
The shock and trauma have been awful. We have had sleepless
nights, stress, tears and even nightmares as well as panic attacks.
Reaching out
We did not publicly put out any news about the fire for over a
week, due to shock and trauma. but when we did, so many people
reached out and asked what they could do to help. Our friends made
us realize that it is okay to ask for support at this time.
With your help from the ashes of our motorhome, a Phoenix will rise.

This was the beloved motorhome that we called Broomstick.
Mario built it up from an empty shell to become our cottage on
wheels and our cozy roaming home.
How your donation can help us
It will allow us to rebuild our lives and our passions to help
others as well help towards us getting a replacement vehicle. We
also aim to launch the Magic & Wizardry Focus during these times.
We will be offering one to one coaching, create
self-development videos, zoom courses and eventually when possible
with restrictions in place, live gatherings.
