We have decided to extend our fundraiser with one more week - until July 7 - to see if we can reach our goal now that we are so close!
It was with great sadness that we announced our temporary closure in April due to Covid-19. In our 11 years of operations, it is the first time we have had to close to guests and we miss you terribly. International travel restrictions and local regulations have severely restricted the travel industry. Adding to this, the safety of staff and guests during these unprecedented times has to be a priority. We hope to open soon again, but we fear that a fully operational Atmosphere may still be a few months away.
During the temporary closure of Atmosphere Resorts & Spa, the team is focusing on maintaining the resort, supporting the staff, making a few improvements and preparing for the re-opening.
To support our staff, we have secured two months of support for each member of staff from the Filipino government, and we have privately distributed money and food donations. However, with the insecurity of how long support will be needed for, we would be immensely grateful for donations. Donations will be evenly distributed to our local staff, and in return we encourage you to stay longer during your next stay at Atmosphere Resorts & Spa.
We will be immensely grateful for any contributions, no matter how small. For larger contributions, Atmosphere will show its gratitude by giving 1 room night in a Deluxe Suite for donations of 10,000 and above and 2 room nights for donations of 20,000 pesos or more. The room nights include breakfast for two guests and shuttle transport to and from the airport/pier. The room nights must be added to an existing or new booking of a least one night, and the choice of a different room type will incur an additional fee. The room night(s) can be availed of latest July 31 2022, subject to availability and not during peak periods.
This fundraiser will be ongoing until June 30 and we simply wish to raise as much as possible. We also hope that some of you will want to leave a message on this fundraising page – many of you have personal connections with members of the Atmosphere team and we would love to hear from you.
We look forward to the re-launch of tourism but realizing that many jobs will be lost in the tourism sector, we hope that you will do your part by rebooking instead of canceling and by continuing planning holidays.
