Lisa Neyland DeLaurentiis Fitzpatrick hasn't added a story.
4 animal advocates being sued for 250,000. Please read. Please share. Please Donate
Last year Chris Buckley needed to rehome her family pet, Max a german shepherd after she received the news she needed to have surgery. This was due to worsening medical issues with the head of household. Chris set out to find Max the perfect home where her children could maintain an open relationship with him. This decision was extremely difficult for the family.
Tawnya Jumper answered the plea and told her a great story about herself. Tawnya met with the family and promised that Max was going to her personal home. It was an adoption to a private person. After much discussion Chris decided to give it a trial run so if it was not a good match he would be returned.
Max was immediately placed into a foster home for the rescue owned by Tawnya Jumper called PA Caring for K9s. Max was then put up and sold by the rescue. When Chris found this out she immediately asked for Max back. Chris and her family DID NOT agree to surrender Max to a rescue nor DID CHRIS SIGN A SURRENDER FORM. Tawnya Jumper AND THE RESCUE refused to tell the family where Max went.
Advocates from all over the country started a campaign to bring Max home. The family brought a civil lawsuit against Tawnya Jumper to release Max back to the family. Max was never found.
One year later and Tawnya Jumper has cast a net and filed a Libel lawsuit along with a Civil Conspiracy lawsuit against Maxs original family and 3 other advocates who worked to bring Max Home. Anita Cole Lisa DeLaurentiis Amber Blubaugh We have hired an Attorney. Start up fees will be $5000 to answer the complaint for all 4 of us. Please help fight this lawsuit and maybe finally find out the truth about Max.
Lisa DeLaurentiis has been in rescue for 31 years. This will bankrupt her rescue and 1000s of dogs will no longer be rescued. Chris, Anita, and Amber are also advocates and fosters and the loss of them in the rescue world will be devastating. Please help us fight Tawnya Jumper, win our case, continue rescue AND BRING MAX HOME.
