Hi there! Many of you know me as Lauren, but professionally, I'm known as Elionette. I'm an independent artist pursuing my first big project, an independent comic book series. 

Now, more than ever, art and expression of ideas through free speech is necessary. We are crowded by ideaoligies and opinions that can be self obsessed and conflicting, and we find ourselves in a world where profit and personal beliefs and gain overrule humanity and compassion for one another and personal growth. Being selfish is a normal instinct, as it is what keeps us alive and allows us to grow at times, but in the case of the free worlds, we are often blinded by our own reflections to the world outside our peripheral vision. There is more to our world than what we have, and there is more freedom in it than what we are given. We choose to remain in patterns and only in times of extremities do we choose to do something about it.

 "Ma'anavra" aims to dissect societal beliefs shaped by religion, politics, and upbringing, and the influence of those beliefs on third parties. It will bring to light personal inner conflict as well as inter-personal conflict and what keeps us from bettering the lives of ourselves and those around us. Whether we resist, we support, or we bring to light alternatives and new ideas, there is always something we can do better.
