We are Jacobs Ridge animal sanctuary based in Murcia, Spain.
We have an emergency situation that we need your help with. Late last night one of our little Falabella horses (miniature), Little Red, suffered a broken hind leg. This could prove life threatening and we need to act fast.
First aid was immediately applied and the vet has visited him along with a mobile X-Ray unit. The information has been passed to our nearest university veterinary hospital and they have advised us that he has a 50-50 chance of making it through the surgery.
We need to organise transport for him and provide payment for the surgery which will total approximately 4000 pounds. We need to pay approximately 1500 pounds as a deposit on Monday.
As a sanctuary we are already stretched financially and we are using this platform as a last resort. Can you help us raise the money for Little Red?
