UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who donated to help me keep WAFL FootyFacts online. I have reached my $850 goal, but with admin fees I am still about $80 short of what I require, so I'm leaving this open a bit longer. I'll be moving to new host provider over the weekend.
In addition, any further donations will allow me to get some expert assistance to help create an automated process for my game previews and reviews, rather than manually completing them, and too assist in streamlining some of the pages including my streaks pages.

Over the past 10 years I've spent countless hours researching and collating statistical information on the WAFL and with the help of a Steve Davies, Greg Wardell-Johnson, John Truslove and Brad WIlley now have the biggest online database of WAFL records and stats.  

Through my website www.waflfootyfacts.net I have shared this research online for the past 3 years, fully funded by myself.

With the database continually growing it's come to a stage where I need to increase my web hosting plan to a faster more efficient service provider which means added costs. 

The site is a labour of love and I continue to spend up to 10 hours per week of my 'spare' time during the season updating match and player records and collating game previews and reviews, plus 100's of hours in the offseason adding player data and adding more statistical tables, now with increasing hosting costs I am at the stage of considering whether to continue with the project or not. 

Therefore I am calling for assistance in covering the costs of hosting otherwise I may be forced to take down the site which would be a great shame.

Ideally I'm looking at $850 to cover hosting for 10 years, but if I fail to raise the full amount I may be able to take a shorter term hosting option.

Unfortunately to benefit from the savings for a long term agreement, payment must be made for the entire term.  It only works out at $7 per month which I'd easily manage monthly, but the one off payment is too much at this time.

My website is all about preserving the history of the premier football competition in Western Australia and to remind football lovers and Aussie sports lovers in general that there is more to Australian Rules history then the Victorian centric AFL. 

So if you want to help preserve this history please help me out.
