This is a colony at a local Sumter business. The cats have been breeding for years and we are trying to stop that cycle by getting them spayed and neutered and rabies vaccinated. (we've managed to rescue 4). All donations are tax deducible. More ...

We have switched fundraisers. All donations are still tax deductible and will go directly to helping the cats.

A colony needs our help! And we need yours!

Our rescue fund is depleted. So we are trying to raise funds to help cover the cost of the vetting (spay/neuter, shots) for approximately 15 cats at a very busy local business.

So far we have trapped 11 cats. 3 are young and were able to be rescued and another one turned out to be a stray who was very pregnant. She is now in foster care awaiting for her babies to arrive. One of the ferals developed a very nasty infection and is still in our care while he heals. Because funds were not raised, we personally funded his procedures that cost almost $300. Each cat had to be treated for various infections. From upper respiratory to intestional parasites to coccidia.
This colony has been breeding for years. We need to stop the cycle before they are overrun again with kittens who get hit by cars.

The business owners are caring for and feeding them. A friend of ours built shelter bins to keep them warm and dry.

Because Sumter TNR Kitten and Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization, all donations are tax deductible.

Please help us, help them!
