Abe was in a motorcycle crash Tues, Sept. 3. An SUV pulled out in front of him and he hit the back of it, projecting him 6 feet in the air landing on his left side. Spleen has been removed due to it being lacerated. Left acetabulum (socket to left hip joint) is broken. Left ACL torn, left knee ligaments torn, dislocated knee with about a 6 inch gash. Out if surgery now; waiting to stabilize - I haven't seen him yet. There are possible other broken bones and they will do X-rays tomorrow. Additional surgery is in the future for the same knee. He is in ICU and expected to pull through.
As bad as that is, the driver was unlicensed and uninsured, leaving the Rector family with a financial mess. The preschool that the youngest attends has come together to help in any way possible, accepting donations from Colerain area vendors, gift cards from individuals, and meals from friends.

I know everyone is struggling to pay bills these days, but imagine if you were in this situation and how much you would appreciate even $5. It all adds up and gives a little comfort to a wonderful family. Please consider even a small donation!
