Dear friends,

Have you ever had a friend who really needed your help? What if you knew you could make a difference in that persons life from 3000 miles away?

Dear friends,

Have you ever had a friend who really needed your help? What if you knew you could make a difference in that persons life from 3000 miles away?

On behalf of my friend Mary in New York City, I'm hoping that you will support my fund raising Skydive to raise money for her partner's Steven's battle against a rare, malignant brain tumour. So far treatment has been unsuccessful and time and options are running out.

I can't sit back knowing I could do something that'll make a difference in the life of someone else.

As much as I enjoy sports, anything connected with heights has always been a step too far for me. But it's for this cause and that reason that I've chosen to Skydive.

I'll man-up to overcome my fear of heights and set off from 13,000 feet and 120mph on Friday 5th July at 8:45am.

I'll be covering the cost of the jump myself, so you can rest assured that 100% of your very kind donation will go straight to the Steve Kilianski Brain Cancer fund.

Please take the time to read Mary's story and I thank you in advance for what could be a life saving donation.

Mary's story...

Dear Family and Friends,

Steven and I met 4 years ago. A little over a year later we were blessed with our son Christian and started our lives together. We received the devastating news just before Christian’s 1st birthday that Steven had a rare, malignant brain tumor. He underwent an extremely delicate surgery and we were beyond elated and feeling blessed when he not only survived it but went into remission.

Unfortunately, that all changed this past January. His team of doctors were very disappointed to find that the tumor had come back. We were heartbroken, but with the guidance of his doctors, Steven underwent a new type of radiotherapy called CyberKnife. Cyberknife delivers beams of high dose radiation to tumors with extreme accuracy. The tumor shrank about 30%, but needless to say we have to get another scan later this month to see if it has had any lasting effect and if the tumor has gotten any smaller.

His doctors have informed us that there are no other options for treatment and surgery is not a viable option either as it is high risk and very dangerous. We are now looking into alternative/experimental treatment. Our only hope is to continue to get the best care possible for Steven.

As many of you know Steven has not been able to work due to his illness and has been struggling financially. This alternative/experimental treatment is not covered by insurance and unfortunately I cannot do it alone so here I am asking for your help. Please help Steven fight this illness.

As parents all we ever want to do is be there for our children until they are old enough to be on their own. This is my wish for Steven, that he sees our little man Christian grow into a big man, and for all of us to share our lives together for a long, long time to come.

Any donation you can give to help us through this struggle would be greatly appreciated. Not only will it give us HOPE but it would give us the strength to continue to fight for a cure for Steven and a long life together with Christian and me, filled with memories and love. I humbly thank you again for your gift. We could not be more thankful to you for your kindness and generosity.
