Christmas is coming, and this year I’ve decided to turn it into a small but meaningful act of kindness. Over the last few days, temperatures in Cyprus have dropped, and many dogs in local shelters are facing the cold with very limited protection. To help keep them warm and cosy, I’m raising funds to buy blankets for dogs living in shelters across the island We are specifically collecting double-size blankets sold at Athienitis supermarket (see picture), which have proven over time to be the best option: they keep dogs warm without absorbing humidity. Each blanket costs approximately €20 and can be purchased at Athienitis Supermarket. How you can help: Donate towards the purchase of blankets If you live in Cyprus, you can also buy a blanket directly from Athienitis I will personally collect both the funds and the blankets and distribute them to the shelters that are most in need.
