Hello, My name is Jerry Siegel. And this is my cancer story. 

Two months ago I would never have thought I'd be a cancer patient. I was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Carcinoma of the tongue and lymph nodes. As my son said I was "a beacon of health and wellness." So I was totally blindsided by this diagnosis. In a heartbeat my world took a completely new direction. Fortunately I have strong family supporters. Though I feel like I am disrupting their lives as well. None the less they are here when I need them. Love to them! To think, that at the end of May I was finishing up the most snow skiing I've ever done in a season. And now I spend my days in cancer treatment and coping with the side effects.

Financing cancer treatment is a major cause of anxiety among patients. And mental attitude plays a huge role in getting through this treatment.

Every dollar raised reduces my stress and puts a smile on my face. Thank You!

I have good insurance. But it has a high deductible. And some things are not covered or only partially covered. And then there’s the out-of-pocket expenses. Like medical supplies, transportation to appointments, and the like.
