Help a poor, impoverished family.
Hello everyone. I'm raising money here on Fundrazr to help a poor
impoverished family in the city of Dumaguete, Philippines - the Golez
family. This family is in desperate need of funds ASAP. With the money
you donate, the family will be able to have better living conditions.
They are a good Christian family.
Their house is so dangerously close to the river, that in the
event of flooding, it could quite literally send the house down the
river if not outright destroy it in the process. And they do not even
have enough of a pathway to pass. The vacant areas they used to pass
by, are now either going to be constructed on or sold for private residences.
Neighbors have built fences preventing them from passing as well.
And their only option they have left, is to cross the river, which
again can be very dangerous especially when there is enough rain.
While they are able to get by each day, thankfully, but even that
itself is a daily struggle for them.
This family needs your help. Donating even just a little small
amount will go a long way to help some of this family to have a new
and better place to live. Please, my friends, donate what you can, or
rather what you feel in your heart is the right amount to donate. On
top of all this, they are also going hungry.
The family members living in the house consist of an older couple,
and 3 of their 6 children (3 of them are already on their own with
their own families) and 2 pet dogs. One of them, Geneveb, is a very
special friend of mine. Her and I chat often, almost everyday on
facebook messenger, sometimes even do video call. Their only desire
right now, is to have a new home to call their own, for their current
house will not last for much longer, it is only a matter of time
before the current structure is gone for good. Again they are in
desperate need of food and a new home, not to the mention the need for
medical treatment for Gen's brother. The other daughter, Jesa, works
from home as a call center operator, just barely making enough to get
by herself.
And so I'm raising money to help them be able to eat, and live. Our
problems here in the USA are nothing compared to what the Golez
family, and others like them, suffer through on a daily basis. It is
too easy and too often do we take what we have here, how good we have
it here for granted. We truly are blessed beyond measure, even if we
don't always see that. Most of the funds will go to constructing the
new house and feeding the family, while the rest of it will go to
helping their 2 puppies stay fed and healthy. You can find me on
