So, you're probably reading this because you know me, or are familiar with me. If so, you know that I'm hardworking, dedicated, determined, loyal, etc. If you came here because you're interested, and you don't know me, my name is Grace, and I'm a senior in college. I currently work two jobs, am taking 5ish classes, and am working on 4 very heavy extracurriculars. Also, I can't provide my own transportation. Chances are if you're one of my friends, and you own a car, you've given me a ride SOMEWHERE at least once. I've been trying to get a car for the last year and a half, but something always seems to get in the way. Unexpected payments, a change in work hours, or overdrafting my checking account to be able to get back into school, which I had to do this semester. One of my jobs is off campus. I work as a cashier at Dollar Tree, where I am on my feet for the entirety of my shift. On Sunday's, when the campus shuttle isn't running, I walk 1.7 miles each way. I'm also Production Director at 89.1 The Point, and have opportunities to go represent the station at local events, but often can't because I have no way of getting there. Being able to have my own car would be such a huge stressor lifted from my life. Not only would it take away the burden from my friends, who are always on the receiving end of "Hey, could you give me a ride here and there?" But it would grant me the freedom and mobility to be able to do more of the things that I love. If you would be so inclined to assist in my venture to get a car, it would be greatly appreciated.
