On Friday, April 3, 2015, Port Hawkesbury, N.S.  Amanda Bagley and her 9 year-old son, Oaklee, were the victims of a tragic house fire.

Oaklee remains in critical condition and will be transported to Toronto for further treatment once his condition stabilizes. Amanda suffered smoke inhalation and remains in hospital. The Bagleys lost everything in the house fire.  The present and future challenges are considerable for them and their costs will be high for this family. We are asking the local and global community for support in the way of donations to help meet these challenges as they arise. Please share this fundraising drive and consider donating. UPDATE:With the absolute heaviest of hearts, we profoundly regret to inform our supporters that little Oaklee has succumbed to his injuries and that God
has called him home early morning Monday April 6/15. His mother Amanda
still remains in serious condition and although expected to recover from
her injuries over a lengthy recovery period, she is still heavily sedated. 

No amount of money can change the outcome of this horrific
tragedy, but if you are in anyway able to donate to help Amanda with her
medical expenses, and to rebuild her life, it is appreciated beyond
