My name is Eliza Rodriguez and on August 22, the house where my mother Ana Marquez, and I lived in Burnaby was destroyed by fire. We lost everything we owned. We had no insurance but with the help of our church and Emergency Support Services in Burnaby, we were able to start rebuilding our lives.

But there’s still a lot we need before we can get our own place again. We’ve appreciated everything that people have given to us but the money we raise on this campaign will allow us to find a new place to live.
