Dogs Matter hasn't added a story.
Baby Elsa, was rescued off the side of a very busy highway, on June 23rd, her brothers and sisters were not so lucky, and some lost there lives due to careless owners.
Baby Elsa was rescued, caught, and is now my foster (through she may end up as a foster fail). Once we got her home, she received a bath after 10 times dipped in dawn dish soap she still had fleas :( so hours of combing and killing fleas because of how long she is she is now flea free.
We have attached pictures of what we have spent so far.
Petsmart: $44.85
Amazon KMR: $16.61
Amazon Litter Attract: $10.71
Amazon Litter and Cat Food June 28th: 20.63
Amazon Stratching House June 30th: 13.07
Amazon Whelping Pads(2) July 9th: 9.90
So Amazon and Supply total is up to $115.77
Baby Elsa saw the vet on June 24th, at 5:00pm, the vet was shocked of how little Baby Elsa was, she only weighed 1. pounds and they guess here to be around 4.5 weeks.
This office visit was free, and the vet didn't charge us for the visit.
While Baby Elsa is on a stict diet to help her gain weight and nutrition she needs, she goes back to see the vet on July 8th at 5:00pm
Baby Elsa was able to get her first round of boosters on
July 8th, she now weighs 3 pounds (yay)!
We are not getting any of the rescue help because we rescued her
and they decided she would cost them to much money, because of the
issue that she has had. Including the issue with fleas to start the
stict diet(including premium food wet/dry, KMR and added nutrients.
Than the vet visit which including full exam, fecal, blood work
because of he health, and the ear cytology due to her ear being
damaged/cut up along with the side of her face.
Please consider donating to help Baby Elsa care.
As of 7/15/2014 we have already spent $144.50 on vet
care.
Amazon and Supplies total is $115.77.
Meaning we have spent $260.27 of the $300 donated and still need help covering vet bills and supplies so Elsa can be rehomed/adopted.
The next to appointment are going to be $59.17 and $64.66 the vet
will decide on August 12th, if she thinks Elsa should have one more
set of boosters, which will cost $59.17. This means we are under
what we thought at first. The spay and microchip will be between
$120-$160 depending on if she gets fixed before her first heat.
