On Friday, May 16th Todd Zumbach died suddenly due to complications from  cancer. His wife of 26 years, Jodi had taken him to the hospital on Tuesday because he was having a difficult time catching his breath. They did a biopsy of his lungs Wednesday and found that Todd had stage 4 lung cancer. Todd died on Friday night in the intensive care unit at Rex hospital.

Todd is survived by his wife Jodi and their 2 sons, Zach and Drew

Todd and Jodi lived a very modest life. They both worked full time. Todd was employed in the construction industry laying fiber optic cable. He worked at the Pentagon and Supreme court post 911. Most recently he was employed by AT&T. Jodi works in accounting. Todd was an avid outdoorsman. He would hunt or fish any opportunity he had. His 2 sons shared his passion.

Todd was a loving father, a devoted husband and a great friend. He was a fun and down-to-earth guy that people loved to be around.

I am asking for the community to rally together and support the Zumbach family during this difficult time. You can only imagine the financial burden that  Jodi will soon faced be faced with. Please consider contributing. No dollar amount is too small. All money collected will go towards hospital bills, funeral arrangements and household bills until Jodi can get back on her feet.
