Three years ago this month, Ally was admitted to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with a pinhole rupture to his oesophagus.  The outlook was not good, Ally was given 3 hours to live and we were all told to say our goodbyes.  Family and friends sat by Ally day and night and eventually he came around but again we were told not go get our hopes up.  The past 3 years have been a struggle, Ally has various physical and cognitive disabilities but the girls still have their dad and I still have my husband, which is something we did not think we would have.  For all of you that know Ally will know that he, 3 years on is still alive and kicking and keeping us all on our toes.

To make life easier for Ally we are going to raise money for a motorised scooter that also has pedals so that he can keep fit but more than anything give him some independence.  He wants nothing more than to go out on his own and this scooter would allow him to do that J .  Depending on the success of our fundraising there are a few other items that we could purchase to help Ally with his fitness and work on his balance issue.
