My kids and I have made it through a whole season! Roller derby really has been, with no exaggeration, the best therapy and the key to our survival. Tony's absence has been, and still is, indescribably rough, but he has been with us in our hearts, as you all have. Because of the support of family and friends who donated to our derby fund last season, we had an outlet to decompress and not think about our loss for a handful of hours each week. I personally converted the stress, anxiety and grief I felt, throughout any given day, into a healthy, productive and gratifying experience. Without the thoughtful donations, it never would've happened. Seriously. Besides the monetary value that allowed us to pay dues and replace outgrown or thoroughly destroyed equipment, we were driven to succeed because we did not want to let you all or Tony down!!! Elizabeth (Leapin' Lizard) and Valentina (Scary Princess) are both very promising little skaters now, and I have finally passed my first assessment, have been drafted to a team, and am assistant coaching the kids' junior league! We want to give a profound thank you to everyone that helped get us here. We are now humbly asking for sponsorship to allow us to see our way through the 2014 season. We're moving forward every day. We’re hoping to to a lot more moving forward on skates!

We love you and can't thank you enough,

Meredith, Elizabeth and Valentina
