For those of you that don't know, I have trained Jimmy for quite a while. Some of you have told me how inspired you were by some of his videos. I call him 'Hemo Rage' because of his infectious intensity in the gym. Lately Jimmy has been facing some medical issues that have kept him from training. If you weren't aware, Jimmy was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of 2. His CP precludes his lower body, along with his left hand, from functioning as well as it should. He wears braces so that he has the ability to stand.

Since the age of 2, Jimmy had to have surgery every two years until the age of 14. Each surgery became more intense than the one before. These surgeries would take up to nine months to recover with 3-4 months of intensive rehab. These surgeries were an attempt to lengthen his ligaments and straighten his bones. However during this process Jimmy started to develop bone spurs which made it even harder to stand.

This is the situation that Jimmy is currently facing. He doesn’t see the benefit in going through another laborious intensive surgery. He just wants to take care of this minor bone spur surgery and go back to his regular training programs. Rusty, Jimmy’s dad, is a tradesman that hasn’t had full-time work for several months now and doesn’t have insurance to cover this cost. This particular bone surgery will run about $6500. Any amount that you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
