Dear FB Friends and Acquaintances,
I find myself in circumstances that require me to ask for help.  Because of, and in spite of the life I have lived I now find myself struggling for some basic needs- the most immediate of which, is paying my real estate taxes before the bill is sold to another party.  ...
The past few years have not been as "easy as riding a bike" for me.  As soon as(and even at the same time) I manage to take care of one problem, another one arrives.   The tax sale was unexpected.  I knew I was behind, but I thought I had more time to take care of it.  Currently, I am not finding a way to pay this bill within the time I am given(deadline 11/01/13).  I have other pressing bills and repairs, but this is the one that most negatively impacts me.  If you want more details, I am willing to provide them.
Essentially, this is my "cry for help".  No one has to wonder or guess about my actions, activities, or things I might say or write.  This is it.  I am struggling and I am not finding a good way out.
My reason for sharing/pleading this way is that it seems the most immediate way to address my situation.  What I am asking for is that my friends and acquaintances buy me a cup of coffee($1-$3 I never buy $4coffee drinks), or a beer($.75 and up.  I'll drink at both ends of the beer spectrum), or maybe lunch(even a $1 cheeseburger would help).  Pretend you ran into me at the store and just wanted to chat over or lunch or a drink .  With over 500 FB friends I figure, for the cost of a cup of coffee from each of them, I can at least start to climb back out of the hole I'm in.  The tax bill is $833.06.

For any one who needs more details or a brightly colored red view of my financial report, please contact me.  I am in no position to keep secrets.  I am also open to job offers, odd jobs and ideas and suggestions.  Paying my real estate taxes won't save me, but it will remove a huge hurdle. I have a list of somewhat emergency repairs I need to do if any of you would feel inclined to buy me more than a drink.

So, please buy me a drink.  I received my tax notice on October 16, 2013 and the deadline to pay is November 1, 2013.  I thank you in advance and would love to thank you in person.  If you happen to visit Peoria- or if you already live here- stop by so I can say "thank you".  And someday I hope I can buy all of you a drink.   Sincerely, Tim Beeney
