Save Mr Bear! (Radiation began June 18th)
Friends,
A very special friend of mine, Mr. Bear, is facing a very dangerous time. He has been diagnosed with a Multilobular tumor of the canine skull; and he needs your help!
The good news - is that with your help, Bear can have the lump removed, and return to his happy, energetic lifestyle, without complications or concerns. His success percentage is better than 90%, so long as the tumor is operable (85%+), and removed in short order.
He has many more years left in him to live, which means more walks/hikes with you his friend, more snoring in the living room, more chasing squirrels, and more love to give.
The challenge we face as friends of Mr. Bear, is the financing to complete all the necessary scans, procedures, and medications, which have a current estimated cost of $8,000.
Bear has been scheduled to see a neurological surgeon in Washington State on June 3rd, and tentatively is booked for surgery on June 7th.
I'll tell you now that we need as many resources as possible, by those dates, to ensure the quickest resolution to this tumor, and the lowest risk to Mr Bear.
Any of you who have had the priveledge of meeting Bear, know that he is no ordinary animal; and you also know that means we are committed to, a much more than ordinary effort.
No donation is too small, and all of it counts.
