Whoop Whoop We are having the FIRST EVER ANNUAL WEST COAST EMS RIDE this September!!!! Since I missed the 2013 East Coast Ride due to having back surgery I am NOT missing this one. Please help me reach my fundraising goal to participate in this ride
Its that time of year again!! Please help send me to the East Coast to honor our fallen Paramedics and EMT's by participating in the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride. The ride will be held from May 18th-25th 2013. THIS YEAR we will will riding a WHOLE NEW ROUTE!!!

The Ride will begin in Rockland, Maine, in order to honor Dr. Frederick LaRochelle, past member of the NEMSMBR Board of Directors, who passed away in 2012. The Ride will conclude in Philadelphia (Collingdale), Pennsylvania.

I am currently representing Washington State in the The National EMS Memorial Bike Ride, Inc. (NEMSMBR) which honors Emergency Medical Services personnel by organizing and implementing long distance cycling events that memorialize and celebrate the lives of those who serve every day, those who have become sick or injured while performing their duties, and those who paid the ultimate sacrifice and have died in the line of duty. This will be my 5th year riding in the event. 2009 was the first year that WA State was represented in the ride. In 2010, 2011 and 2012 I was the only rider from WA State.

Our vision is to see recognition of EMS as a profession, a reduction in debilitating injuries and LODD in EMS and a national EMS accountability system. It is our hope that these events will focus attention on the accomplishments of all EMS personnel, and educate the community at large about the need for improved safety standards, injury prevention, disability tracking and death benefits for EMS personnel and their families. We travel through some of our nation’s largest metropolitan areas to some of the most remote rural towns. We represent every provider in the country and we want them to know we ride for them.

Both fire and police have national memorials, which recognize line of duty deaths for their people. The Fallen Angels is trying to recognize the less visible heroes who too, have given all while trying to save others..

We will ride for any member of the EMS and Fire Community no matter the circumstances surrounding their injury, illness or death.

It costs me approximately $2200 to participate in the ride. That includes registration fee ($350), donation fee ($250, airfare, cost to ship bike, and 10 nights of hotel costs. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! $1, $5.... $500 =) it's all good!! =)
Special note: If you don't want me to have to pay any fees for your donation, if you just go on to paypal and donate directly to my email at you can do that. ;)
Thank you!
