Darrell Deeter Feb 10, 1954 – Sep 7, 2012 We lost one of the finest individuals on the planet this past friday. There is no way to relieve the pain, hopefully time can help take some of the sting out. I do, however, believe that coming together to raise a BOAT LOAD of money for a student scholarship fund in Darrell's name would be a wonderful way to continue to honor him and celebrate all of his accomplishments and contributions to education for many, many years. Please help by adding a link to this FundRazr as well and joining the Darrell Deeter Memorial Scholarship Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/deeterscholarship/ on facebook. You can donate by clicking the donate button or utilizing the "no tech" option below. NO TECH Donation Option: The "Darrell Deeter Memorial Scholarship Fund" or "DDMSF" has been set up at Wells FargoAcct#6965479394 Routing#125200057 and direct deposits, transfers and cash or check donations are already being accepted through any Wells Fargo branch if you use the scholarship name. You can also mail a check to AVTEC - DDMSF, Box 889, Seward, AK 99664 as well. I think Beth said it best in this facebook post which still brings tears to my eyes: "As many of you have heard, I lost Darrell Friday night due to a fatal garage accident while I was out of town at my mothers. He was my hero, my soulmate, and my best friend. At the police station, they said whenever I said his name, I smiled. Just thinking about him brings a smile to my lips, thats the kind of guy he was. We had a great adventure for 32 years, and if this is the price, it was worth it, I will always have those years. I am still in shock. Words can't describe what I am feeling, but thanks for all the love, I need it."
