Update 2:
On 12/12/12 Mike was involved in a bad accident at work. While running on foot after some perps, one of the perps ran Mike over with their truck. Mike is doing better but will have to have both knees reconstructed. It will be a long recovery, but he will be back chasing perps again soon. Thanks for everyone's support and we will keep everyone posted during his recovery.

Update:
A few weeks ago we got the news Mike is cancer free. Thank you everyone for all of your help and support throughout this time. Mike will need to be tested every other month for the next two years to monitor everything. We will keep everyone updated.

My fiancé Mike Hooks has been recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Testicular Cancer. He is 31 years old from Jackson GA and is proactive member in our community as police officer. We have postponed our wedding until we get everything settle with Mike's health. He has already had surgery and will be starting Chemotherapy June 4th. The doctors have told us that this is one of the most curable cancers and there is an 80-90% cure rate. We are trying to raise money to help pay for treatments.
