Ever since the announcement in June 2016 that the UK had voted to leave the EU, the country which many were formerly proud to call their home has fallen into a state of almost complete collapse and decay - gone is the kind, caring and generous UK that we all knew and loved and which was respected the world over to be replaced by a country where greed is seen as good, poor and struggling people are treated as inferior, where having a different race or gender means that you can be singled out for abuse and where good and kind hearted people are mocked and belittled for extending a friendly hand to the neediest in society.
The many scandals of the UK's Conservative/Tory Party are well documented: From 'Partygate' and the as yet unpublished Sue Grey report to the ever rising costs of our utilities, the scandal of Freeports as well as the more recent news that Conservative MP's voted to allow untreated sewage to be sent straight into the sea around our coastline!
On Monday 5th September, the result of a decision made by a small minority of people will determine who is the next leader of both the Conservative Party and the UK. This decision will impact upon us greatly, and we will have no say as to which one of Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak is elected as leader, especially Truss who is doing her best to appease the Right Wing element of the Tory Party and Reform UK, shunning progressive Politics and policies in the process. We will then be further silenced as more of our rights come under scrutiny and the threat of ever more draconian laws to keep us 'in our place' will never be far away. When there is talk of rationing energy and food within the next few months, with grave concerns that food stocks could completely run out within 12 months according to The Guardian (Wednesday 31st August), and the Government of the day has no idea and no willingness to solve these most pressing issues, we simply cannot allow this to be in a civilised society.
Liz Truss has already stated that, if elected as our next Prime Minister, she will castrate the powers of Unions to strike for better pay, terms and conditions and ban what she calls 'Seditionists' from 'holding this country to ransom' as both she and the Right Wing media state. If she succeeds, her plans will not just wreck Unions which are there to oversee the best interests of their members, but potentially put the lives of people at risk by allowing unqualified and unlicensed people to do skilled jobs which need years of training and practice to fully understand.
Liz, Rishi and the other Conservative MP's want people to shut up and go back in their boxes where they won't be allowed to speak out, protest about social injustice, the issues of Climate Change, fair pay and conditions and to demand quite rightly their Human Rights be respected. Quite simply, we will be back to the 'Dark Ages' and feudalism where the Lords and Masters run roughshod over the Peasant Class.
Poverty, depression, suicides and deaths will rise whilst those at the top are comfortably insulated from the reality of the hell they have created for the poorest and most vulnerable in society, with increases in reports of Loan Sharks and Prostitution as a result of the cost of living increase also now becoming major causes of concern. The fact that the Government feel that it can just palm off the most vulnerable to 'Heat Hubs' rather than fix the problems they have created is an aberration and is completely reprehensible and inhumane.
However, if people unite and stand together as one and tell these bullies, blowhards and liars that 'no, our freedoms and our rights are not up for grabs or for debate' and if we double down hard on the Government and force them to think again on everything from energy bills to properly dealing with pollution, climate change, shortages of workers in certain sectors, as well as trying to undo a lot of the pain, hurt and embarrassment caused by Brexit then we can start to rebuild the UK in a way which benefits all of us.
If MP's or anybody who opposed freedom and democracy knew that every wrong or bad move would see them scrutinised, that people did not fear them and, if needs be, would fight hard to have them de-selected or even taken to Court for their crimes, they would think twice. If people stood up for themselves and the UK and said 'we will challenge you' and took direct legal action against these liars and moral fraudsters, their heroic endeavours would help to save the UK from becoming a failed society and country.
Imagine that, from your donations, we are able to prosecute those who have set out to hurt the UK with their odious lies which have left the UK worse off and trailing our European counter-parts in terms of GDP. We are then able to secure better deals and better conditions for our Union members - remembering it's not about more money but better conditions and support especially in such areas as Mental Health.
With your help, we can get the UK back to where it should be, with the poorest safe and secure in the knowledge that they won't be seeing extortionate bills and have to choose between heating or eating. We can create a society where racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism etc. is finally eradicated and hate is a thing of the past - a society where everybody is equal and everybody has a say and (most importantly of all) is heard and respected by those people elected as our representatives at Westminster. We can change the course of our destiny and be on the right side of history, but it will take hard work, effort and sacrifice.
Donations received will do the following:
* Act as a War Chest for Legal Action against anybody or any organisation acting against the wishes of the people of the UK. This would ensure that we employ and retain the best QC's and Solicitors for trials.
* Stop the over-reach of the Government via direct legal challenges, taking MP's including the Prime Minister of the day to Court if necessary, be this the High Court, the Supreme Court or even the European Court of Human Rights.
* Help support Union staff and their families financially during times of Strikes and support those Union members being hounded by the Police suspected of 'Sedition'.
* Help to fund forthcoming protests and marches for freedom (including transport costs, making posters and placards, hiring venues for talks prior to or after the protest or march), as well as defend our right as people of the UK to gather peacefully and legally to protest against any and all social injustices.
* We will also donate to causes which help protect the most vulnerable in our society as well, should we exceed our target.
In late August 2022, the UK stands at the crossroads and we have to ensure that it does not make the wrong move - any lurch into further right-wing advancement will hurt the country even further, whilst restricting our say and our voices will mean that the Government will clamp down on anybody who disobeys them. Do not forget what Rishi Sunak said about punishing those who dare to criticise the UK!
By speaking out and not backing down, even under the most trying and difficult of circumstances possibly since World War Two, we will embarrass our Government and eventually force them into submission - by an early General Election or by them relenting and accepting the will of the people and changing tact because they have no other option but to do so.
This is OUR time and it may be the final chance to win the fight to save our beloved UK from absolute ruin. However, we cannot do it without you, and we need heroes like you to get involved in our campaign for freedom: The best way is by donating to us, but if you cannot then please spread the word about us and what we intend to do.
In the years to come people who have stood up for this country, such as the remarkable Steve Bray, will be remembered as heroes who took on the corrupt establishment and won - you can be a hero as well as your donation will make all the difference and decide the fate of the UK - working together we can and will win against the forces of evil.
If 50,000 people were to donate just £1, our fundraising would be complete. It is a lot to ask, but working together we can achieve great things and a better future for everybody!
