My name is Gabriella Cook, I'm in 9th grade and live in Minnesota. I love reading, writing, animals, crafts, and I care about the planet, environment and community. I've been taking Spanish for two and a half years now and have the chance to go to Ecuador on an immersion trip with my high school this summer! I am a straight A student and am working hard to get into Columbia University after I graduate high school. This trip is an amazing opportunity for me, we would live with local families, work within the community and learn Spanish how it is actually spoken instead of just in the classroom. My parents can cover some of the costs but not all of it and I'm doing what I can to contribute! If I can't make the goal, all funds will be returned. Thank you to everyone that can help.
