Hi, my name is Javier González. I'm 21 years old and I'm from  Venezuela. I produce all kind of electronic music under the name of Vesky.

BRIEF PERSONAL STORY

From a young age, my passion for music was essential, in fact, much more than any career I could think I could do. When I finish high school, by the pressure of my parents I was forced to start in the architecture school. I never thought it was wrong to study that career, but I always felt that I lacked something during all that time

What I lacked was the music. When I realized that it had been that, no matter what my parents said, I left architecture school to devote my days to learning about music production watching Youtube videos, hearing a lot of music, and practicing with a pretty old mini laptop I had in that moment.

After a hard time of uncertainty, I decided to tell my parents what had always been in my heart. because my plans had always been to go to the capital of Venezuela, Caracas, to study sound engineering.

It was then that one of the toughest blows of my life came: it really was not possible that I could go to study there, since there were too many economic limitations.

That's when I decided to go to the film school at Los Andes University. from here, I began to find new passions, and was much closer to music than I was before, however, the obligations of the film school took me away every minute of the real dream I had always had.

it was then that for 2 years I left music production totally to dedicate myself to film school. After a while, I had a strong disease in the colon, which left me in bed for a few months, and that was when I really reflected on my real dreams.

from that moment I decided to talk with my family again and together we decided that it was better to come to my mother city and start building this great dream from scratch

from that moment  Vesky  was born, which is the result of many broken pieces that were united and reinforced to create a great project, which for me, is the one that had always wanted.

MAIN REASON OF THE CAMPAIGN
 

to all this, it seems that everything is going well, however, although  I am very grateful for what I've achieved thanks to the people who believed and enjoyed my music, for me, creating music has never been a quiet process , pleasant, as any creative process should be.

This is mainly due to the low acquisition capacity we have in our country (earning  just $8 monthly), in addition to the blockade of foreign currency by the government. for that reason, I currently own a computer that has been giving me so much problems producing music from the first moment I had it. 

of course, the fact that I don't have gears like Interface, monitors, MIDI keyboards always limit my process, but I never thought that was so necessary, I can do things just with my mouse, as I do now, but I really can't make things with all the PC issues

The main problems that I always present are: cuts in the audio, High Frequency artifacts from those cuts, loss of entire projects (this happens when the programs close unexpectedly due to the low performance of the computer), slowdown of the computer in large projects.

I have tried everything  to not pay attention to this, but little by little I have been getting tired, and I think it is not healthy for an artist to work in this way. for this I come to the aid of all the people that can contribute,  you're my only salvation. you are the only people who can help me.

I think you already know this but, most of the artist enjoy their making, but mainly the reason of the artist to give their all to make art is for you, the viewer, the listener, the fan, those who share and interpret the art to your own way. those who enjoy and understand our art much more than us. that's why you are the main reason for us to make art. you make our art. so, I promise this fundrising isn't only for me.
