Hi! We're Amanda and Pablo!

We met in a school of acting for the screen in Dunham, Quebec Canada in April of this past year. Pablo was on staff and Amanda was a student. We became best friends instantly and as time went on we realized that our friendship had blossomed into a deeper love for each other. They say "When you know, you KNOW!" and neither of us truly understood that until we met eachother. It is so true!

After the school had ended this past Summer, we were heading to the states to meet Amanda's family and spend quality time together outside of the school context. Our plan was to also get engaged at that time! But, as we got to the Canadian/US border Pablo was denied entry to the states even with his proper visa (no explanation why, just because they can I suppose...) and we were separated in a matter of seconds. Pablo was forced to buy a ticket back to his home country of Chile and Amanda had to drive across the country alone back to her home state. It was devastating to say the least, but after a month and a half apart, Amanda was able to get to Chile.

So, we have decided to make it offical and take the big leap into marriage! One thing we realised in our time apart was the real love we had for each other even more so and that we don't want to ever be separated like that again. The distance did some serious strengthening in what we already knew to be true, so there is a part of us both that is thankful. We just don't want to go through that again!

Since we are both volunteers and don't have a steady income, we were advised by friends and family to launch a campaign to raise money for our wedding expenses! We're pretty simple people, we don't need to be extravagant, but we realize our need for help in the basics to see this thing happen. 

So, friends and family and anyone who feels on their heart to give us a helping hand we would be so thankful!!!
