My Name is Nora Cruz,  I am the biological mother of Mark Mann's,  we have been thru hell and back these last few months here is a little of what we've been thru  we have contacted general attorneys of Georgia and Ohio we've told our story on a radio show thanks to the group Truth Stands Alone,  we have dealt with Children's Service agency's in both Florida and Georgia and no one can help us,  we where able to get Mark in school a month ago thanks to public exposure,  so now I'm hoping we can find a lawyer pro bono to take this case here is my sons story....... Dear System, I was adopted when I was 2. They took me from a loving mother and gave me to a psychotic, horrible 'family'. While in the household me and my siblings were mentally, physically, emotionally, and sexually abused. I walked in on Rikee Manns, the oldest of the adopted mothers children raping my sister. I tried to stop it. I tried to tell. I was beaten. I had my face slammed into walls, they broke my arm, and to top it off, we were not allowed to eat. My sister Marcasia R'Kahlya Rhone was kept in the GARAGE , where it was sweltering hot in the day and blistering cold at night. No one was allowed to open the garage door and I would only see her once a MONTH when she was allowed to take showers. She was driven insane and she ended up being sent to a psychiatric facility. After she left, it was my turn to feel the pain. By the middle of my ninth grade year, the same pervert who molested my sister got me involved with drugs. I ended up selling for him throughout the school. It seemed like he cared about me when nobody else in the family did. It was a scheme. I ended up getting caught, and I was suspended from school. As a punishement, throughout my 8 day suspension, I was forced to sleep outside in the fenced in backyard in the middle of winter. She didn't let me have a cover and she took my shoes and socks. I ran away, but she ended up finding me because she has a cop boyfriend. After I ran away that time, she found a pit bull and put him in the backyard with me. After my suspension was over, she kept me out of school for 2 extra days. On the third day, she drove me up to the school, where she demanded that I be expelled. The administration wouldn't have it because I was a gifted student and one screw up didn't matter. She was livid. She told me to go get in the car (while the administrator tells her I must stay for school) . Once I'm in the car, she attacks me . I end up having to jump out. I ran as fats as I could on a sprained ankle. I didn't know what to do, so I ran to my friends apartment complex and hid out in the gym for two days and I lived off of food stolen from kroger. The owners of the complex started noticing me , so I had to go. I ended up sleeping on the rain in the rain in the woods that night. I got sick. I decided to walk to Atlanta, where I met a man who helped me out. He was the lowest of the low in societies eye. He was a drug dealer who lived in a bando. I told him my sistuatin, and he gave me the idea to go to florida, where my real mother Nora Cruz lived. I agreed , and just like that, I was selling drugs again. After I made the money , he sent me with his friend who was a truckdriver, and he drove me to Fort Lauderdale ,Fl. Two days later I found my mom .....and she called the cops on me. I wasn't supposed to be near her, but she had to do it. There was no missing persons report on me , so I could stay without risking the arrest of my mom. But, the reunion ends when the adopted mom sent her cop boyfriend to check on me because apparently I had been kidnapped and was being abused. The police came and checked me out, and they deemed it safe for me to stay. I asked the officer what would happen now, and he said they'll be in contact. 4 months later, 10 children services reports later, 3 police visits later, NOTHING HAS CHANGED. The adopted mother has told the caseworkers that she doesn't want me anymore and that's okay. The problem is that she is still getting money for me and I do not have my social security number or a birth certificate. I can't get into school. In fact, her daughter texted me and said, "Your school life over . Thought you was doing something running away" if I don't get in school , ill be another statistic. I don't want that. I can't get anyone to listen , no matter how many reports I make. The system is failing me. In reality, the only way I can get something done is if I commit a crime. Share my screwed up story. Do ANYTHING. When the system fails you, there's nothing else you can do. I don't want to have to break into that families house , grab that lady, and demand my social security number while I'll hold her up against the same wall where my bloodstains once were. Dont get me wrong, if all else fails, im going to do what i gotta do in order to change things. The police have failed me and my government has failed me. This is the post I found on my sons Facebook I am his biological mom but legally I have no rights NOONE has helped us we've called the police in both states we made reports to children's service in both states in been 5 months and my child still can't get in school please even if you can't donate please get this out there I KNOW THERE'S SOMEONE IN THIS WORLD THAT CAN HELP,  Just an update Mark is now attending EAST RIDGE HIGHSCHOOL he was able to get into school through a loophole we still need help with a bro bono lawyer if there is one out here willing to help,  I've been to legal aide of central Florida but they explained this case is out of their scope of practice I've searched local lawyers in the area but they want at minimum 1,500 retainer fee 150 an hour to take the case please if you know anyone share our story maybe they can help!!!!!!!!
