My name is Nathan Gilmore. I have stood by my wife's side in everything she's going through for far too long! Her son Braxton, was taken from her on the notion he'd be brought back by his father. When the time came for Braxton to be home the father was no where in sight. From there my wife tried for over a year to find where these people live. She finally found out from a doctors letter with an address on it. She immediately went to the address and tried getting her son back. She called the police and there was nothing they could do. So she immediately went to the courts and filed for emergency temporary custody. Not a week later she was served with termination papers. The stepmom has been mocking my wife, stalking my wife, and doing anything she can to rub it in her face that she doesnt have her son. The judges have been extremely one sided in this whole ordeal. We've been in front of 2 different judges and 3 attorneys. There have been many attempts and meetings to try and see her son. None have been successful. In three years she was allowed to see her son for 30 minutes at a supervised visit with a therapist. It seems as though every step of the way everybody with any kind of power is against my wife being able to see her son. The most recent judge made up her mind on the second day of trial. And not allowing any of our evidence in to be seen. During the trial the judge was under investigation, about knowing about a childs suicidal attempts and doing nothing about it. The Guardian ad litem has had a distaste for my wife since the first meeting. She bullied my wife on the stand and made it look like there was no other options.
We have been fighting for over three years and want this to end. We only want what's best, what's right, and what should happen. Braxton needs his mommy, his brothers, and the other part of his family.
The sleepless nights and heartache have taken a toll on our broken family. We are asking for any help possible so that we can make our family whole again. Please help us appeal the judges decision to take a mother away from her son, and a son from his mother. Anything helps!
As stated above, the judge is and has been under investigation from the bar. The link for one of the cases she is under investigation for is right here. I believe the judge was biased and based off what the judge said in the second day of trial was completely cut off from our side of the case, and story.
