Hi, I'm Malcolm Christiansen! I'm a massage therapy student living in Vancouver. Several months ago, I met a wonderful woman named Gita Jackson over the internet, and in very short order, we fell very deeply in love! Hooray! Unfortunately, Gita does NOT live in Vancouver. Gita several thousand miles to the east, in Chicago. Oh dear!

I graduate from my program in December 2015, after which I want to celebrate with a 2-week trip to Chicago to see the woman I love. Gita and I have met in person before - she spent a week in Vancouver in the summer, and it was one of the best weeks of my life. But plane tickets are expensive, and so are fun date-type things! I'm a student, Gita is a freelance writer - we don't have very much money to spare for anything outside of the essentials! So we need your help.

I'm asking for 1200 CAD. 400-600 of that will cover the plane ticket (depending on what kind of deal I can get), approximately 100 of that is intended to cover Fundrazr's cut of the total, and everything on top of that will go towards expenses for my two weeks in Chicago.

It's very difficult for us to be apart, we miss each other every day. Being able to travel to Chicago and see my amazing, beautiful girlfriend would mean the world to me, and to her. We'll probably both cry a lot, but in a good way because we'll be very happy. I'd like to be able to spoil her rotten while I'm there - I'm already planning on giving her lots of massages and tidying up her apartment and bringing her breakfast in bed, but I'd like to be able to take her out on the town and do touristy things as well! Basically if you'd like to contribute to me making Gita as happy as I can possibly make her for two weeks straight, give generously!
