Hello Family and Friends!!!

Please take a moment to read this in its entirety. Thanksgiving will be here in no time and who doesn't want to look forward to a nice meal and spending quality time with loved ones? Everyone should be able to feel this way and not have to worry if they'll have the money to afford it. That is why for the past three years my bible study group has provided families in need with Thanksgiving dinner. Last year's fundraiser allowed us to bless 15 families totaling over 80 people with home-cooked meals. Please watch video to see how impactful this effort was. 

This year we'd like to exceed that and are committed to feeding 20 families. Each family will be provided a Thanksgiving Gift Basket including a cooked turkey and items to make a complete Thanksgiving meal. TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN WE NEED TO RAISE $2,000. 

We know this goal is definitely possible but it's going to take the support of our friends, families, and anyone with a warm heart to rally behind this cause. We ALL have SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR so why not spread the love and show our appreciation by giving back!! No matter how busy you are there's an opportunity for you to contribute in some capacity.

HERE ARE THE WAYS YOU CAN SUPPORT:

• Donate money (secured through PayPal)
• Provide items for gift basket (based on a set list)
• Help solicit donations (monetary and in-kind, specifically gift cards for grocery stores)
• Prepare gift baskets on Tues. 11/25 
• Help drop off gift baskets on Wed. 11/26 (between 9-12pm)

The 20 families we'll be serving will reside in the Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose area. However, if we exceed our goal and get the support we need, we may be able to serve families beyond those territories.

WE ARE ACCEPTING FAMILY REFERRALS

If you know of a family in Oakland, San Francisco, or San Jose that could really benefit from a Thanksgiving Gift Basket please refer them to me. We trust that you will only provide names of individuals who truly have an immediate need. We can't make any guarantees so please know families will be provided meals on a first come first serve basis.
