Since I began consciously walking this path of awakening and transformation I've felt the repressed anger and rage in me bubbling under the surface like an unstable volcano ready to blow anytime. And it does.

I'm definitely a sensitive, new agey type guy who often is confused about how to take charge, own my power and stick to what I say I'm gonna do. All my intentions for gentleness, compassion, peace and goodwill are great, but sometimes I feel like I have NO BALLS and I'm afraid to be myself, speak my truth and own who I am. 

Everything I repress results in explosions of resentment, that are unfortunately, often drected at the woman I love, who maybe triggers it, but doesn't deserve any of it. I'm done blaming anyone and anything for my life not being the way I dream it. It's time to grow up and embody the warrior in me.

I know there is an honorable, courageous, compassionate warrior in me, I've tasted it several times on this path. But lately I've lost touch with my power, purpose and mission here on this planet. I've fallen into apathy, indifference and hopelssness. I've felt called to this training for years....it's time for me to do it and make the changes that will serve me and this world in a great way.

What is the New Warrior?
The Mankind Project describes it as this:

"Men have been warriors since the beginning of time and every man has his warrior side. But social forces pressure many to repress this part of themselves. They unconsciously substitute a distorted shadow for the healthy warrior energy so essential to sustaining individual and communal balance.

The New Warrior is a man who has confronted this destructive "shadow" form and has achieved hard-won ownership of the highly focused, aggressive energy that empowers and shapes the inner masculine self. Sustained by this new energy, the New Warrior is at once tough and loving, wild and gentle, fierce and tolerant. He lives passionately and compassionately, because he has learned to live his mission with integrity, and without apology."

The only thing that has ever held me back from doing this training has been the $, but I'm not letting that story stop me anymore. I'm going for it, and I know the universe is in full support of me being my full self, so one way or another this is gonna happen. 

I'm aiming for $825 because the training is $725, there's travel expenses to get from Portland to Santa Barbara where the training is happening, and a few $ in fees to Fundrazr.

I live very humbly off what I receive for my art, and my priority is my spiritual growth and to live my passion through my music. If I'm gonna bring the fullness of myself and my passion through, I need to embody my warrior rockstar self fully, which means no more being afraid of asking for what I need and fully go for my dreams.
