On 17th January 2014 we lost our dear son, husband to be, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, friend and talented personal trainer Michael Trafford in a motorbike accident in Ibiza.
We would love to honour him by raising as much money as we can for his, and his fiancee Maya's, favourite cause: The victims of the typhoon in the Philippines.
Michael and Maya, loved the Philippines. Maya has been out there volunteering to help the victims of the typhoon and at MIchael's funeral, donations to the Philippines were actually appreciated more than flowers.
We invite you to make a donation and to please invite all your friends and family to donate too. Sharing is Caring and the more donations made, there more people will be helped.
Here is what Maya told us when she came back from the Philippines:
"I met some wonderful people. I met a guy who has gone there independently and started doing volunteer works on his own. He is taking care of a boy with TB and he is building houses for many people in remote areas that are getting no help. He has made a Facebook page to keep everyone updated, so I thought the fundraising you make can go directly there."

For the people who live in Ibiza please join us on Friday 4th April at 13.00 - 14.00 hrs in front of Mariners Bar on Santa Eulalia beach for a fitness workout that Michael himself designed. In this way we like to honour a beautiful person that he was, and raise awareness and money for the typhoon victims in the Philippines. Please all come as we know that Michael would really appreciate this. He was a real people person and we know for sure that it will make him smile seeing all of us joining one of his workouts together.

El 17 de enero 2014, perdimos a Michael Trafford, un querido hijo, prometido, hermano, tío, nieto, sobrino, amigo y excelente entrenador personal, en un accidente de moto aquí en Ibiza.
Quisiéramos honrar su memoria recaudando fondos para su causa favorita, y la de Maya, su prometida: las víctimas del reciente tifón en Filipinas.
A Michael y a Maya les encantaban las Filipinas y Maya ha estado allí trabajando como voluntaria ayudando a las víctimas del tifón. En el funeral de Michael, su familia pidió que en lugar de flores, se hicieran donaciones para las Filipinas.
Puedes hacer una donación e invitar a todos tus amigos y familiares que hagan lo mismo. Ser humano salva vidas y cuantos más fondos recaudamos, más gente se podrá ayudar.
Esto es lo que nos dijo Maya al volver de las Filipinas:
“He conocido a gente realmente maravillosa. Conocí a un hombre que fue allí solo y empezó a trabajar como voluntario independiente. Cuida de un chico con tuberculosis mientras construye casas para la gente que viven en los lugares más remotos del país, a donde no llegan las ayudas. Tiene una pagina de Facebook para poder comunicar y difundir noticias y pensé que podría recaudar fondos y enviárselos directamente, allí donde pueden hacer la mayor diferencia.”

Si vives en Ibiza, únete a nosotros en la playa (enfrente de Mariners en Santa Eulalia) el viernes 4 de Abril a las 13:00 horas (hasta las 14:00) para participar en un programa de ejercicios diseñado por el mismo Michael. Es nuestra manera de querer honrar a Michael, una bellísima persona, y también concienciar a la gente y recaudar fondos para las victimas del tifón en Filipinas. Nos encantaría veros allí y sabemos que a Michael le hubiera encantado también. Tenía un verdadero don de gentes y sabemos que estará sonriendo desde donde este ahora, viéndonos todos disfrutar de su programa de ejercicios.
