MISSION: TO REPAIR MY FAMILY'S BROKEN HOUSE 

Hello Dear Friends, 

Today is a sad day and we need your help.. At 5:45am this morn 2, 150ft trees came crashing down onto my grandparents, Edward and Donna DeBoor's home in the Sandy River Valley. 

Luckily neither of them were hurt. But the house took significant damage. One year ago they finished repairing damage from another fallen tree. And some time ago stopped having home owners insurance. Both are currently helping my grandfather Ed to recooperate from cancer, kemo and surgery. It seems that as of late money has  not been falling from the sky for these two. But we need it too! 

This day...

The first, a Hemlock tree, on the east side of their house fell puncturing through the upstairs bedroom (to where there is currently no integrity left) and one huge branch plowed through the downstairs dining room window. Leaving branches puncturing the walls around and cracks down the center of the house and in the kitchen. Donna was asleep just across the hall upstairs. And Ed in the bedroom below the destroyed room. 

Both found each other at dark:thirty in the morning unharmed.

The Hemlock hit two other trees. One fell in the forest and the other, a Cedar came down on top of the first tree extending the damage.

As soon as family got the call of such event they were there in the wet, dark, rain of the Valley morning helping to move branches, cut and toss tree parts off the roof and the holding and hugging of coarse. My parents and 16 helpers were there today. 

And the good news is, is that all the huge gaping holes are covered with tarps. 

But these sweet loving people need community support to help them rebuild the east wing of their broken home. And there is talk of eliminating OLD tippsey trees from the near property to avoid future catastrophy. Which can only be tackled with hard work and the revenue to make it happen! 

I am HERE AS an advocate to these wonderful people that I love so dearly who have cared and supported me and mine my whole life! This beautiful, couple who made beautiful children and grandchildren: need generous hearts right now. 

After so many difficult times I feel they deserve to have a fearless night of slumber.
