My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in July of this year which crushed my world. My husband, kids, and I have not seen her or my father for almost 5 years now. What we wouldn't do to hug her one more time, to hold her hand through chemo or radiation treatment and tell her it will be ok, to listen to my dad, to hug him when he is down. My brothers do not get much chance to see them either and wish the same wishes. My parents need their kids and grandkids around them now. It amazes me the great spirit my mom has, the strength and the love she has for us. It also amazes me my dad has enough strength for two as he carries my mom and stands by her side through everything.
Please help to send the kids and grandkids to my parents for a surprise Thanksgiving for my mom and dad. Please also help bring my mom home next year to Scotland, in July, so she can see her parent's grave, her brother, her sister, her nieces, and her nephews one last time. So she can feel at home again and be at peace. We pray she continues to fight each day and remains with us for a long time. BTHOC!!!
