My Father Andrew Pierce is currently battling liver disease and cirrhosis of the liver stage 4 . He cannot work or take care of himself due to his illness. What started out as a normal day at work nearly turned deadly. He was using a bandsaw and nearly cut half of his hand off due to the workplace's lack of safety. They reattached his hand but it still barely works and was out of work on workman's comp. While being out of work for a while he was rushed to the hospital and was diagnosed with liver disease. The workman's comp was cut off because they felt as if his hand is good enough to return to work. My mom takes care of him full time and is unable to work because of his needs and her own health problems. He started out before his accident at 215lbs and is now down to 141 and is losing weight daily. We are praying for him to get better but is not on the liver transplant list yet and will not get better until he gets the transplant. Right now my parents are destitute and all they really have is family and each other. Their landlord is threatening eviction because the rent is 2 weeks late and everyone feels hopeless.

I don't normally ask for help, but my family is at a crossroad and we sure could use a miracle right now. Times are tight right now and everyone has been pitching in to help. I appreciate anything you can give as we could sure use it.
