In January 2013 our Daughter suddenly became sick and it has been a life changing event for our Family. After multiple medical visits and testing, our Daughter was diagnosed with Epilepsy. She was on a good streak from March 22nd to May 6th without having any seizures, since May 6th she's had one a week with most recent on June 4th.

Due to the increased activity and medications not controlling the seizures, she will be leaving Mary Bridge Children's Hospital and all future visits will be at Seattle Children's Epilepsy Program at Seattle Children's Hospital. Her primary Neurologist believes this facility will be able to provide more specific care with the specialized equipment in the Epilepsy Program. He believes they have a broader range of medical treatment options, one of those being brain surgery, he indicated she's a prime candidate for this, this scares us and we hope it doesn't come to that.

We're grateful to have good medical insurance, however, our medical insurance doesn't cover all our medical related expenses.
