When we first became engaged and decided our 'must-haves' for our wedding, one of the only things on Clayton's list was that we be married in a church.

We were never huge church attenders growing up, so we decided to search for one to attend together and develop a relationship with. After carefully selecting our church, attending, volunteering and being members for over a year, two months before our wedding the financial department of our church decided they could not uphold the 'member' wedding fee we'd previously been granted....because we had not tithed to their satisfaction.

This left us to scramble to come up with the extra thousand dollars difference in less than two months. With no other options and the invitations sent, we were forced to continue on as planned in order to fulfill one of Clayton's only requests. We were granted a few weeks extra to pay, but as college student/freshly graduated we have little hope of coming up with the extra money.

It was recently suggested that we set up a donation fund to save our church ceremony plans on June 1st, 2013, and we hope that this will help us reach our goal... every little donation helps!
