I am disabled with MS and trying to move north to cooler temperatures. since my diagnosis last July, I have been to the hospital ER 3 times due to the heat causing relapses. The heat is not only dangerous for me, but is growing more and more intolerable
I am disabled with MS and trying to move north to more accomodating temperatures since my diagnosis last July. I have only known hard work all of my life, from restaurant cook, factories, and warehouses, and professional mover to Diesel and automotive mechanic. Now I cant do any of these things. I moved to Florida to rejoin the mother of the only baby we could have.

As happy as I was to see hold and kiss my own blood, we found out moments later he was dying. The pain was immeasurable how could something so beautiful and perfect be losing his precious little life! We were traumatized.. and as a result went into a downward spiral and eventually separated and didnt know how to cope. She was vulnerable and fell into an abusive relationship a year later with someone at a new job and concieved another beautiful child.

A week before his birth the father ran off to another state and this baby never had daddy the first 7 years of his life when I stepped in to be the Daddy he wanted so badly. Now I have been diagnosed with Multple Sclerosis 3 years later and can no longer live in the intense heat of Florida. As I can no longer work I have got to move us north to prevent another hospitalization of myself.

My income now is so far below what it will take to get us there as disability in no way makes it possible to afford to make the trip with our two vehicles and a vintage '60s travel trailer in dire need of repair for not only the trip, but building everlasting memories with my new baby boy.

He has never seen snow, or the leaves change colors in the fall and is now 10 years old! Please help us get to Kentucky for all of our well being and futures together before the Florida heat strikes me down to the hospital E.R. again..
