Hello Friends,
First of all, thank you so much to everyone who helped me on my last fundraiser, and previous fundraisers. I am forever grateful!
I really hate needing to create a new fundraiser right now, when there are so many in need of help. I backed off of my last one, and have held off for as long as I can, but this is the month that I really cannot make it on my own. Holding off so long has made my situation worse, so I need a LOT of help, but if we can make it through this month, we don't have another HUGE hurdle until September. I humbly ask you to help me out, if you can.
June would have already been hard, even if I didn't have extra things happening, because of something that happened to me a couple of weeks ago. Someone tried to use my credit card for 3 large purchases, and once again, I found myself without it, until they could send me a new card, meaning I had to use another one. I try o only use one. Now I have 2 large credit card bills, again this month. Those 2 payments alone take most of my $1341 Social Security Disability Check. Not to mention that due to the issue with the credit card, Paypal sent one of my autopays that usually go on that specific card to my bank, and caused me an overdraft fee that I could not afford. So regardless, I would have needed help with groceries, the rest of my bills, and some auto ships.
But I do have extra expenses this month, making it even harder for me to get by. Some things I already bought, on the second card. Both dogs needed their Heartgard Plus renewed this month, and I already got that. I already got Ace's Gallaprant, too. And I had to take Ace to have his leg checked, after he and Alma were playing, and she hit him in his leg. But now, they both have a groom appointment next week, and they both have their annual check up next week. I went back and looked at their receipts from last year, to get a general idea of what it will cost.
I made an Amazon List with some of their autoships, and I did get help on those last month, and I don't know that I will get help again this month. What I will have to do if I don't get help on the fundraiser is pay the 2 credit card bills, then use them to cover everything else. That will only push the issue into next month, and I will be in the same shape, and even worse.
So I humbly ask you to please help me out if you can! Even if it is just a little, every little bit helps! It adds up! I am going to give you an itemized list of what I have to pay for this month. Some are larger, and some are smaller, so if you want to help with a certain thing, you can tell me, and I will use your donation for that thing! The amount I am asking for is smaller than the list, because I can cover some things, but not all.
Electric Bill $112.98
Main Credit Card I use $582.97
Extra Credit Card I had to use $661.23
Exterminator $60.00
Internet/Landline/Cell $160.00
Groom Appt $76.59 for each dog, total $153.18
Groceries $150 each week, roughly, total $600
Autoships:
Ace's Welactin $23.74
Ace & Alma Credelio $64.00
Ace & Alma's Fortaflora $76.94
Ace & Alma's Nubz $44.00
Alma's Biscuits $13.98
Ace's Spine and Disc Supplement $29.34
Ace's Bones $49.76
Alma's Bones $96.96
Ace's Deer Chews $113.97
Finally, their Vet Annual Checkups. Last year, Ace's was a little more than Alma's, but that may not be the case, this year. Last year, she did a recheck on Ace's blood work, because when he had blood work before his surgery last May, his BUN and ALP were elevated. I don't know if she will want to do blood work again this year, because he did have another recheck last December, and it was perfect! But on the other hand, that was 6 months ago, he is a senior, and he is on medication that could effect his kidney and liver values, so she may want to recheck again. His total for his annual check up last year was $434.73
As for Alma, hers will definitely be more this year, because she is going to be allergy tested. Poor girl chews on her paws all the time, and I suspect that is how she broke her nail, earlier this year, to the point she had to go to emergency vet. If she does have allergies, I assume we will do the same treatment on her that we do for Ace's allergies, Cytopoint injections. The cost is based on weight, and Ace's are $105.00. Hers should be less, because she weighs less than Ace, but we will have to wait and see if that is her treatment, or if she does have allergies. Last year, her annual exam was $319.68. The last time I had a dog allergy tested was in 2006, and it was Angel Blue. I'm sure it costs more now, but it was $200 at that time.
So all of the above is what I absolutely have to pay this month, no choice. My next big hurdle is Homeowner's Insurance in September, which is over $1,000 and Car Insurance in October, which is $200. We will cross that bridge at that time.
I also have 3 items I desperately need to replace, as soon as possible, and I am certainly not asking for these, but only mention them if someone wishes to help us with them.
The hood over my stove has to be replaced. The sooner the better, because the condensation when I cook is ruining my kitchen. Mold everywhere, and everything in the cabinet above the hood is soggy. The hood is over 40 years old. The hood itself is not expensive, but paying someone to put it in will be.
My computer has needed replaced for a while, but I will stretch it for as long as I can. My computer is 8 years old, and I cannot do what I do in my groups without it.
My washing machine has needed to be replaced for a while. I tried having it repaired, and it cannot be repaired, so most of the time, it does not spin. Cheaper to use it and wring the clothes out, than go to a laundromat, so that is what I do. My washer is roughly 20 years old.
Thank you for reading. Hopefully you know me enough to know that I hate doing these, and I wouldn't be asking for help if I didn't desperately need it. Social Security Disability is simply not a living wage, and I cannot work, as per my doctor. Any help at all will be very much appreciated! Thank you, and God Bless You!!!!
