Meet the team and the land ⛰️
We are an international team of more than 20 members who started buying land as a collective property to make a community-led project. We aspire to create a place of experimentation to find answers to the challenges of our time, guided by the approach of nature-friendliness in our practices and solutions based on the project values.
The Mountain Land is a land of immense beauty, inhabited by rushing streams, meadows, and forests, spreading across 16ha in Northern Montenegro. We are acquiring and creating Mountain Land as a common land, a place where we can turn our common dreams into reality. What brings us together is a dream to honor and protect the natural beauty of this place and nurture it for healing, learning, and contemplation. As a group, we create through collective ownership, sociocratic stewardship, and regenerative practices.
What we do 🤲🏼 🌱
Since 2023, we have organized five summer camps for children and adults, as well as gatherings, jamming sessions, workshops, and meditations. During the 2024 season, we are focusing on repairing the existing infrastructure, starting permaculture interventions, and continuing with learning camps and small-scale events, such as the Deep Live Gathering.

The acquisition of this common land costs 130,000 EUR.
So far, we have contributed 95.000 EUR between 20 co-founders. We are looking to expand our group and raise another 9.000 by the 20th of September. We hope you will help us achieve our target of preserving the Mountain Land for many generations and inspire each other and others to create resilient futures together. In our project, we are developing the use of internal currency and have issued Mountain Land liquidity tokens. One token costs equal to one euro, but you can use it to purchase Earth services at a discount (accommodation, meals, participation in some events). To receive these tokens, you must have a crypto wallet to which we can make a transfer.
Stay on the Mountain Land in our house or a tent for a weekend (for 2 people x 2 nights). During the summer heat, you can hide in the coolness of the mountain winds or, if it is winter time, in a snow-covered den. After you make your donation, we will contact you to arrange everything.
We are developing our food forest initiative, and you can join us by supporting planting some berry shrubs. Who knows, maybe someday you will come and pick up a tasty berry from it. After some time of your donation, you will receive a picture of your tree (periods of planting spring and autumn).
Handmade bags of various shapes are decorated with natural patterns from Polina, inspired by the nature of the Mountain Land. Each is unique! We have them in three forms: belt bag, shopper, and small handbag (like on the pic). We will contact you after the donation to confirm your shipping details and the color of this small gift.
Help us to enhance the ecosystem of the Mountain Land by planting a tree. We carefully choose the types of trees and planting sites and give the required support to young plantings. After some time of your donation, you will receive a picture of your tree (periods of planting spring and autumn).
Be our guest during the Mountain Festival this summer (the dates will be announced later). We will cover your accommodation costs and provide food and camping equipment during the event (ticket for one person). After you make your donation, we will contact you to arrange everything.
Join us for the May project session (from 03/05 to 15/05). The best way to get to know each other and experience the Mountain Land in the full spectrum. Working retreat with participation in a project session around developing the infrastructure and future plantings. Let's formulate hand-to-soil relations together! With this voucher, you can stay with us for 5 days during the project session (ticket for one person). After you donate, we will contact you to arrange the details.
