UPDATE:  We have reached the goal, and I am so very grateful to you all. This is going to help Mary so much!

Mary is working on getting her social security started, but I have learned it could take up to 3 months for it to begin, so I decided to increase the goal to $10,000.
This would insure Mary can not only cover the cremation, and funeral, but also her mortgage for the time she waits for her social security.

As you know, Russ Kawecki passed away recently, leaving behind Mary and their three precious Great Pyrenees.

Due to the nature of illness Russ suffered from, they had no insurance coverage for cremation or funeral expenses.

With the passing of Russ, Social Security immediately stopped his checks, leaving Mary without income until her own checks begin.  This could take a couple of months!

We set a goal of $5000 which will be used to pay $1500 for cremation and to cover the mortgage and other household bills while Mary waits for her first social security check.

It will take some time for Mary to begin collecting her social security and in the mean time the mortgage, bills and feeding expenses for the dogs will continue.

Mary needs the support and help from our community and so several of us talked and decided to create this fund raising campaign 

If friends and Great Pyrenees Pyrents all contribute a little we can make a Huge difference for Russ’s pack.

Russ was, by so many people’s descriptions, a truly good man.  Let’s honor his memory and make it possible for Mary to cover the crematorium charges and her expenses til she receives her check.
