WHAT and WHEN
As the Russian military invasion of Ukraine has unfolded, so too has a humanitarian crisis that has forced civilians to flee their homes and take refuge on the island of Madeira.
As we watch this unfold, it's a natural thought to want to help in some way.

When
During the month of March, Madeira Fitness Friends alongside Digital Nomads of Madeira ask for your support in which we will be tackling on different ways on how to aid to the cause.

WHY
So many families have found refuge on the island of Madeira and with your help, we can provide them with all the necessary comfort and assistance needed in order to make their settlement easier.

How
The Hotel Dorissol Buganvília have opened their doors to receive items during the whole month of March.
On the 3rd March, an item collection was held at the 23 Vintage bar in which the response was extremely positive.
On the 17th March, a live auction will take place at the Design Center Nini Andrade where art and items will be auction and all proceeds will go towards the cause.

As we are in touch both with the Government and the local people that are running initiatives on the island,  the money will be used with the refugees locally, therefore any contribution of any amount would be greatly appreciated.
