In a year filled with losses, struggles and an overload of dogs in need we are eternally grateful for your support. It has been a challenge at times to find the strength to keep pushing forward but, for some dogs, we are their only chance.
In September we quietly acknowledged our 10 year anniversary of rescue. We had no big announcement, no celebration...though we had both planned. With the passing of 2 of our pups and the medical scares of a few of our medicals the thought of a celebration seemed too much. Emotionally we were spent.
We are so proud of our 10 years and the lives you've helped us change forever. Your support and generosity has given us the ability to feed the starved, heal the injured and provide lifetime support to those that are in medical and haven't found a home.
When a dog enters our program, they are family forever. Helping them heal and overcome their pasts creates a lifetime bond. If they need help once they arrive home, we are always there for them in any way possible. We try to support every family that one of our babies belong to, our commitment doesn't end at adoption.
For those that find no family due to behavior or medical, we never give up on them. They live in loving homes receiving the medical care and/or training they need to live their best life in our program.
We are only able to do all this because of your kindness and support. Your love for each of these babies keeps us going as you are helping to change their lives daily. You share our passion for the underdog, you are always there with us in their struggles. You give us the support and encouragement we need when the weight of rescue weighs heavy...most times without ever knowing how heavy the emotional load is.
This Giving Tuesday we are hoping we can pay off all of our outstanding vetting. With surgeries and vetting coming up, we'd love to start with a zero balance. We've been carrying balances for a little too long and unfortunately it's slowed our ability to help new pups. Will you help us this #givingtuesday?
