My name is Daisy and I have created this GoFund Me to help raise funds to purchase a pet monitor for my two dogs that have extreme separation anxiety and Isolation distress.

These are my two dogs. Ollie and Luna. I got Ollie from a friend of my boyfriend in April 2016 when he was about 2 months old. The first thing he learned was to use the potty pad. Soon after was tricks like sit,shake, roll-over, touch with tip of nose, jump,speak and stick out tongue. However one of the most important things as for training obedience was no barking and being left alone.

My boyfriend and I have tried to crate train but thar only made Ollie bark louder and longer. We could hear Ollie barking outside of our apartment, down the hall and even in the front lobby of our building. Luckily the other tenants didn’t make any complaints but that is something we should never have to worry about.

I soon convinced my boyfriend that maybe it would help if we got a second dog, so he had a playmate and maybe that would make him stop barking. So I did some extensive online searching for adoptable dogs and finally in September after about 5 months of having to make sure either my boyfriend or myself or one of our friends was always at home, we finally got our second dog Luna. It wasn’t long til what we thought might be a solution, just added more to the problem, now we had two barking dogs.

I tried to use a bark collar, thar would spray a mist every time the dogs would bark. It worked in the beginning but eventually had little to no effect on both of the dogs. I also tried one of those Sonic barking devices that uses a sound only the dogs can hear every time they would bark. No effect.

As much as I absolutely love my dogs to death..the fact that my boyfriend and I can never both leave. Whether it’s together to go do something as a couple, or if one of us has to go to work, or night school, the store, the hospital even.

To others it sounds very pathetic how much it has taken control of our lives,but we try to deal with it the best we can. At times we have had no choice but to leave the dogs whether it was 10 minutes or 20 minutes leaving toys that can be stuffed with dog treats, making sure they had a walk or went to park prior to tire them,sometimes leaving the tv on...and each time we come back before punching in the code on the access box at main entrance of building, we could hear our dogs barking their heads off.

At times it has become so bad that Ollie has peed on both my boyfriend and my clothes or shoes, stack of video games, the corner of a wall anywhere he can think of meanwhile the potty pads have yet to be used.

Even to this very day, yes it has helped when one of my friend was able to stay and look after the dogs, but even at times while someone was looking after them they would not bark, one or both of the dogs would be laying down or whining while waiting by the door for my boyfriend or myself to return.
