Hi! My name is Noah Norris. I am currently 16 years old, and the oldest brother of 3 Olympic hopefuls! My brothers Trey (age 7), Tony (age 9), and I have been working hard all Summer, and have qualified to compete on a National level in our prospective sports of track & field and basketball. We are raising money to get to these competitions, and we would really like your help!
My journey in track began 7 years ago when I started running on a USA Track & Field (USATF) club youth team. Since then, I’ve been blessed to be successful in both Club and High School Track & Field. As a sophomore this year, I won the state title in the 800m run and 4x800m relay, and placed 2nd in the 4x400m relay. I was also honored to make All State, 1st team in Track, runner up in Cross-Country and Track & Field MVP. In the next 2 years, I hope to secure a College Scholarship in Track & Field, with an ultimate goal of competing in the 2024 World Olympics.
Competing as an athlete has taught me a lot about what it takes to be successful. It has allowed me to build character, develop responsibility and become disciplined and dedicated. I’ve had many accomplishments, but one that I am especially proud of, is to be an example to my younger brothers that anything is possible with hard work and determination! I’m proud that they have followed in my footsteps! They are both track & field and basketball athletes, and at a young age, they have already become some of the best in their class. Trey has qualified to compete at this year’s Junior Olympics in Sacramento, CA, in the 100 m dash. Tony’s speed and basketball skills have allowed him to compete amongst the best at the National AAU basketball Championships in Orlando, Florida. This summer, I have qualified to compete in the 200m run, 400m run, 800m run & 4x100m relay.
National competition is exciting and an honor to do what we love, but it is also expensive, as it requires airline tickets, week long hotel stays, food, admission, & transportation. Our goal is to raise $1000 each ($3000 total), to help cover the costs. Any donations that you can make are helpful, with no amount too small. This year, Junior Olympics is July 22-28th. I know that my success thus far is greatly because of many of you that have believed in me and helped with prayers, cheers and donations.
