Dear Family and Friends,
As many of y’all know, I have made the decision to join the mission team that is planting a church in the city of Bend, Oregon. Being born and raised in Georgia my entire life, this is a drastic life change for me and I have never been more excited! For a while it has been my life dream to move to the Pacific North West, tell people about Jesus, and eventually live in a tiny house while I do the first two things. About halfway through 2018, God provided an opportunity to begin this adventure. The doors opened and I started walking through!
That being said, preparing for this journey has been difficult. I find myself constantly struggling with anxiety, worries, fears, and finances, but I know that God is faithful. So I am inviting anyone who can to join me on this journey. I am asking for help in order for me to trust God and live out his calling for my life. With anyone anyone who joins a mission team I am in desperate need for two things:
1. Money
2. Prayers
Firstly, it is expensive to move across the country. Anyone who has ever moved, even just down the street, knows that the starting costs of simply relocating is a good chunk of change. So I am asking for anyone who can to help me fundraise I will babysit, watch your dog, help with normal daily tasks, and am open to ideas. If you can please help donate here!
Secondly, I am in need of prayers. I need prayers for myself as well everyone on the mission team. We need prayers to trust God and for God to help us all get to Bend safely. We need prayers for the City of Bend to be open to hearing the gospel and for the Holy Spirit to move through the population and for each of us to be used for God’s glory.
