Our 4th annual AKYISAN: Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religious Reversion Conference will take place in Washington, DC on March 24, 13019 (2019). This will be our largest festival to date. We celebrate and examine Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religion born of the blood-circles of our Ancestresses and Ancestors who preserved our Ancestral Religious practices in North america for the past 300 years including: Hoodoo (Akan), Voodoo (Ewe, Fon), Juju (Yoruba), Wanga (Ovambo), Gullah-Geechee (Gola and Kisi), Ngengang (Fang), Gris Gris (Bambara) and more. It was through our Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) Ancestral Religious expressions in North america that we were empowered and guided to wage war against the whites and their offspring and force an end to enslavement in North america.
This year we have created a crowdfunding campaign specifically for AKYISAN. This all-day conference, as is true of all of our 3 annual conferences/festivals: HOODOO MAYN (October), AKYISAN (March), ODWIRAMAN (June) and all other presentations that we do around the country, is free of charge and open to Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans~Black People) exclusively.
We will also give away a free copy of the soft-cover version of our bookAKYISAN - Ancestral Religious Reversion Nhoma (Journal) - 13019 to all attendees of the event. This has been our practice for years at all of our events - free admission and a free book for all attendees.
Our crowdfund effort will assist us with the cost of renting the venue and also the travel expenses for two of our presenters who will be traveling from Georgia and Florida to share their knowledge with the community.

We have covered the expenses of our three annual conferences/festivals over the past three years only with support from the community. Those who purchase one or more of our 31 books or make contributions to our institution are the reason why we have been able to continue. There has been a small circle of core individuals who have contributed. We can get much more done with more support from those who truly benefit from our work.
We note that the whites and their offspring are holding 'African Traditional Religion Conferences' and events in different parts of the country attempting to co-opt our Ancestral Religion which in reality they are racially and spiritually incapable of practicing. We must restore the exclusive Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) identity of our Ancestral Religions within the consciousness of our people. This is our birthright and the key to us aligning our communal development with Nyamewaa-Nyame Nhyehyee (Divine Order). Moreover, it is critical for Afurakanu/Afuraitkaitnut (Africans) in the western hemisphere to embrace our own expressions of Ancestral Religion preserved in our blood-circles since we left Afuraka/Afuraitkait (African) centuries ago. It is only this Ancestral Religious inheritance which can properly serve us.
Meeting
our funding goal will not only allow us to cover the venue expense and
the travel expenses for our presenters, but also the printing expense
for the free book giveaway. We plan to print and give away 100 free
books to all attendees.
Any contribution you make at any amount gives you the option to receive a copy of our AKYISAN - Ancestral Religious Reversion Nhoma (Journal) - 13019 which will be released on the day of the conference. You also have the option of receiving one or more of our other 31 books.
